Convert a NAB PDF statement

- Upload it to Accounter and review the extracted rows against the PDF.
- Run the balance check below, then export the CSV.
Balance check
Opening balance plus money in, minus money out, should equal the closing balance on the statement.
Enter the figures from your statement to check the balance.
Before you import
MYOB imports bank files only as OFX, QFX or QIF, never CSV. Accounter does not lodge BAS or run STP (Single Touch Payroll); anything it shows is an estimate only.
Frequently asked questions
How do I download a CSV from NAB?+
NAB Internet Banking has a transaction export option for account activity, and the available formats and menu names can change. Check the current steps on nab.com.au (last checked 13 October 2026). If you only have PDF statements, upload the PDF to Accounter and export the reviewed rows as CSV. TODO(juvan): confirm the exact current NAB export steps before publishing.
Can Accounter convert a NAB PDF statement to CSV?+
Accounter attempts readable PDF statements and gives you reviewable rows. Compare them against the original PDF before relying on them. TODO(juvan): add results from real NAB PDF tests before claiming NAB-specific accuracy.
How does the balance check work?+
Opening balance plus money in, minus money out, should equal the closing balance printed on the statement. If it does not, a row is probably missing or misread. Use the check on this page with the figures from your statement.
Can I import the CSV into MYOB?+
MYOB imports bank files only as OFX, QFX or QIF, never CSV, so a CSV from Accounter needs converting to one of those formats first.
Does Accounter lodge BAS or run STP?+
No. Accounter does not lodge BAS or run Single Touch Payroll (STP). Any figures are estimates only; use your registered tax or BAS agent or the ATO for lodgement.
